Pieces of Me is a sexy, sassy, and deeply emotional story set in the fictional coastal town of Mercy Island. The story is a tribute to the strength of will women and children have to survive, heal, and emotionally grow after experiencing horrendous adversity.
What inspired this novel?
The setting was inspired by the small coastal town of Tannum Sands (Central Queensland) where I spent my childhood playing on the beach in the sun. The story was inspired by the ever-increasing reports of domestic violence in Australia, particularly Rosie Batty’s sad personal story.
What are you reading right now?
I am reading K.M Golland’s Discovering Stella, and listening to Rachel Johns’ The Patterson Girls on audiobook.
